The Best Conspiracy Theories

Everyone enjoys hearing about a good conspiracy theory and many people enjoy coming up with new ones. You can spend an incredible amount of time reading about theories and wondering if there is any truth to them. This list of my top 10 conspiracy theories.  Enjoy!!!

10:Was Obama former CIA Agent

Was Barack Obama recruited and trained by the CIA to infiltrate Pakistani (Taliban) and Russian (Soviet) schooling systems? I don’t think so. But Dr. James David Manning seems to think otherwise, thanks to his “intense investigation”.

Allegedly, young Obama’s Muslim background caught the CIA’s attention and not long after that, he was attending Karachi and Moscow universities to help the Taliban army oppose the Soviets’ invasion of Afghanistan.

9.Alien Reptiles are dominating the world

According to BBC Reporter David Icke, reptilian humanoids are the force behind a worldwide conspiracy directed at manipulation and control of humanity. He contends that most of the world's leaders, from William Jefferson Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and George W. Bush to members of the British royal family, are in fact related to the 7-foot (2.1 m) tall, blood-drinking reptilians from the star system Alpha Draconis.

Conspiracies won't stop there. According to an interview with Icke, Christine Fitzgerald, a confidante of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, claims that Diana told her that the Royal Family were reptilian aliens, and that they could shapeshift. David Icke and others have claimed that U.S. President George W. Bush and his family are part of this same bloodline.

Icke claims, based on his exploration of genealogical connections to European royalty, that many presidents of the United States have been and are reptilian humanoids. In his view, United States foreign policy after September 11 is the product of a reptilian conspiracy to enslave humanity, with George W. Bush as a servant of the reptilians. He also theorizes that the reptilians came to Earth from the constellation Draco.

8.The Aids virus was created in a laboratory

Based on the theories of Dr William Campbell Douglass, many believe that that HIV was genetically engineered in 1974 by the World Health Organisation.

Dr Douglass believed that it was a cold-blooded attempt to create a killer virus which was then used in a successful experiment in Africa. Others have claimed that it was created by the CIA or the KGB as a means to reduce world population.

7.Global warming is a hoax

Some climate change doubters believe that man-made global warming is a conspiracy designed to soften up the world's population to higher taxation, controls on lifestyle and more authoritarian government.

These sceptics cite a fall in global temperatures since last year and a levelling off in the rise in temperature since 1998 as evidence.

6.Fluoridation

Fluoride is commonly added to drinking water as a way to reduce tooth decay. However, there has been some evidence that there could be some harmful side effects from fluoride and conspiracy theorists believe that this information is known and recognised by those responsible for adding the fluoride, but that they continue the practice regardless.

Drug companies have been targeted as possible beneficiaries, as they will profit from a population with ill-health. Another motive is that fluoride lowers mental abilities thereby "dumbing down" the entire population.

5.Nasa faked the moon landings

People who think that the Apollo moon landings were not all that they seemed at the time believe that Nasa faked some or all of the landings. Some of the theories surrounding this subject are that the Apollo astronauts did not land on the Moon; Nasa and possibly others intentionally deceived the public into believing the landings did occur by manufacturing, destroying, or tampering with evidence, including photos, telemetry tapes, transmissions, and rock samples; and that Nasa and possibly others continue to actively participate in the conspiracy to this day.

Those who think that Nasa faked some or all of the landings base their theories on photographs from the lunar surface which they claim show camera crosshairs partially behind rocks, a flag planted by Buzz Aldrin moving in a strange way, the lack of stars over the lunar landscape and shadows falling in different direction. Many commentators have published detailed rebuttals to the hoax claims, and these theories have been generally discounted but belief in them - particularly on the web - persists.

4.Diana, Princess of Wales, was murdered

Why won't this one go away? Despite an official inquiry that found no evidence of a plot by MI6 or any other entity to murder the princess and Dodi Fayed in 1997, fevered speculation continues.

The theory is that rogue elements in the British secret service decided that Diana's relationship with Fayed was a threat to the monarchy and, therefore, to the British state.

A plot was hatched in which a white Fiat Uno carrying agents was sent to blind and disorientate driver Henri Paul as he sped through the Paris underpass pursued by photographers. Later, Paul's blood was switched with a sample of somebody who had drunk a lot of alcohol. The trouble with the theory? Not a shred of evidence exists to support it.

3.The Illuminati and the New World Order

A conspiracy in which powerful and secretive groups (the Illuminati, the Bilderberg Group and other shadowy cabals) are plotting to rule mankind with a single world government. Many historical events are said to have been engineered by these groups with one goal - the New World Order (NWO).

The groups use political finance, social engineering, mind control, and fear-based propaganda to achieve their aims. Signs of the NWO are said to be the pyramid on the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States, inset, strange and disturbing murals at Denver International Airport, pictured, and pentagrams in city plans.

International organisations such as the World Bank, the IMF, the European Union, the United Nations, and Nato are listed as founding organisations of the New World Order.

2.The assassination of John F Kennedy

The 35th President of the United States was shot on Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas at 12.30pm . He was fatally wounded by gunshots while riding with his wife - Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy - in a motorcade. The ten-month investigation of the Warren Commission of 1963 to 1964, the United States House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) of 1976 to 1979, and other government investigations concluded that the President had been assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald - who was himself shot dead by Jack Ruby while in police custody.

But doubts about the official explanation and the conclusion that Oswald was the lone gunman firing from the Texas Book Depository overlooking Dealey Plaza where Kennedy was hit surfaced soon after the commission report. Footage of the motorcade taken by Abraham Zapruder on 8mm film supported the growing belief that at least four shots were fired - not the three that the Warren Commission claimed. The moments of impact recorded on the film also suggested that at least one of the shots came from a completely different direction to those supposedly fired by Oswald - evidence backed up by testimony of several eye witnesses. Many believed that several shots were fired by gunmen hiding behind a picket fence on a grassy knoll overlooking the plaza.

The assassination is still the subject of widespread speculation and has spawned numerous conspiracy theories, though none of these has been proven. In 1979, the House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) found both the original FBI investigation and the Warren Commission Report to be seriously flawed. The HSCA also concluded that there were at least four shots fired and that it was probable that a conspiracy existed. However, later studies, including one by the National Academy of Sciences, have called into question the accuracy of the evidence used by the HSCA to support its finding of four shots.

1.September 11, 2001

Thanks to the power of the web and live broadcasts on television, the conspiracy theories surrounding the events of 9/11 - when terrorists attacked the World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon in Washington - have surpassed those of Roswell and JFK in traction. Despite repeated claims by al-Qaeda that it planned, organised and orchestrated the attacks, several official and unofficial investigations into the collapse of the Twin Towers which concluded that structural failure was responsible and footage of the events themselves, the conspiracy theories continue to grow in strength.

At the milder end of the spectrum are the theorists who believe that the US government had prior warning of the attacks but did not do enough to stop them. Others believe that the Bush administration deliberately turned a blind eye to those warnings because it wanted a pretext to launch wars in the Middle East to usher in another century of American hegemony. A large group of people - collectively called the 9/11 Truth Movement - cite evidence that an airliner did not hit the Pentagon and that the World Trade Centre could not have been brought down by airliner impacts and burning aviation fuel alone. This final group points to video evidence which they claim shows puffs of smoke - so-called demoliton squibs - emerging from the Twin Towers at levels far below the aircraft impact zones and prior to the collapses. They also believe that, on the day itself, the US air force was deliberately stood down or sent on exercises to prevent intervention that could have saved the lives of nearly 3,000 people.

Many witnesses - including firemen, policemen and people who were inside the towers at the time - claim to have heard explosions below the aircraft impacts (including in basement levels) and before both the collapses and the attacks themselves. As with the assassination of JFK, the official inquiry into the events - the 9/11 Commission Report - is widely derided by the conspiracy community and held up as further evidence that 9/11 was an "inside job". Scientific journals have consistently rejected these hypotheses

Greatest Wrestlers of all time

Wrestling has been one if those sports or entertainment which you either love or hate. But everyone growing up has watched wrestling or still does. I don't think its boring at the moment just because I don’t watch it much as I once did.
Remember that professional wrestling is an art form and that everyone has different taste. Some fans are drawn in by a well-developed storyline and some crave hardcore blood-n-guts and wild brawling

For the majority of us, a strong angle that logically brings together two capable in-ring storytellers and climaxes with an emotional, dramatic, technically impressive battle is the absolute best set of circumstances to leave us feeling like we’ve witnessed something special.

On the subject of Special the wrestlers have to be  special to in order to produce something memorable.
Its March and its the biggest card on wrestling calendar...Wrestlmania

Its where stars are born and great wrestlers produce some of the most memorable moments.

What makes a wrestler special? key points to a great wrestler: personality, mic skills, charisma, way he sells the moves, in ring skills and technical ability
But who were the wrestlers that stood out not just wrestling but had the full package such as entertain the crowd and produce moment of brilliance.
Well here is my top 10:

10: Joint Tenth place Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam

Mysterio came from lucha libre style of wrestling he is able to do a lot more acrobatic moves and that makes him way faster then a lot of wrestler
he's the "best little man", and always the underdog because of his size. But Rey's real purpose for being in the WWE is so Vince can boast about having a bona fide luchador on his roster (and one of the best luchadors ever). This is why Vince insisted Rey put his mask back on when he signed him to the WWE

I remember when he rolled onto the scene in the WWE, he was incredibly innovative. In one of his earlier matches with Jamie Noble, he pulled off an amazingly original finisher. Ray is one of the most consistent wrestlers and always keeping the crown on their feet with his acrobatic moves.

Rob Van Dam

Rob Szatkowski, better known to wrestling fans as Rob Van Dam. Rob is a trained kickboxer and martial artist and He placed 2nd in the Kalamazoo Heavyweight Toughman Contest.
RVD has had an illustrious career in the wrestling business working for every major promotion in the U.S as well as working all around the world doing various tours and one off shows. RVD’s athletic risk taking style brought him into the hearts of many as well as getting known as “Mr. Monday night” and “The whole F’n show.” RVD is truly one of wrestling’s modern day phenomenon’s who has already written himself in to the history books

RVD has always been better on the mic which in my opinion is important to being a World Champion. WWE never really gave RVD the time to talk and when they did they really watered down his abilities.
He has also appeared in several movies and television shows. He also had a radio show called RVD Radio and a tv show called RVD TV

9. The Undertaker

Undertaker is still the most respeceted and feared wrestlers in the game and is probably the third most powerful man in WWE. First of course its Vince, Second his son in law triple h and third yes The Undertaker. He is currently married to Michelle McCool in real lfe.

The Undertaker has two contrasting gimmicks: "The Deadman", an undead occult like figure, and "The American Bad Ass", a biker. The specialty matches connected to The Undertaker are the Casket match, the Buried Alive match, the notorious Hell in a Cell. The Undertaker's half-brother is Kane, whom he has teamed up with as the Brothers of Destruction. Glenn Jacobs (Kane) and Mark Calaway (Undertaker) are not related in real life, but they have trained together for a number of years and are very close friends in real life. The Undertaker is undefeated at WrestleMania with an 18–0 record, which is the single longest undefeated Wrestlemania streak in WWE history

8. Bret Hart

Bret Hart should be higher on this list but his cut and dry style of interview takes him down a notch. Hart was a premiere wrestler for the WWF during the mid-80s to the late-90s. Trained by his father Stu Hart in the famous Hart Family Dungeon in Calgary, he was one of the best technical wrestlers ever. His famous matches range with such greats as Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Owen Hart, Undertaker, Sting, Chris Benoit and more.

The infamous Montreal Screw-job led to his departure and quick arrival in WCW. From there he didn’t do much due to backstage politics and suffered a career threatening concussion in a match with Goldberg in 1999. He suffered a stroke, unrelated to wrestling, in 2002 but has since made a strong recovery.

7. John Cena
John Cena is the Hulk Hogan of this generation. He has held countless World Championships, has headlined WrestleMania six different times, has starred in a number of theatrically released films and television commercials, and has sold out the biggest arenas in the world.
However, the reactions he gets from location to location vary too much, from heavy cheers, to heavy boos, to most often a mixed and split reaction within the audience in attendance..
A lot of wrestling fans seem to blame John Cena for everything they dislike in Professional Wrestling. People who say John Cena wins too much are probably too young to remember that Hulk Hogan's first Championship Reign lasted Over 4 Years , And way way way before my time Bruno Sammartino's first reign lasted over 7 years . A big factor in the reason for the fans fickleness is the era that we live in now. A lot of fans still have passion from the attitude era of WWE where The Rock would trash talk, where Austin would drink beer in middle of ring and flashed the middle finger like it was a greeting.

The reason I personally think John Cena is in the position he is in with the WWE, is not only his charisma, which I admit, is top notch, but his position outside the company and the way he conducts himself. He is often seen taking time to sign autographs, help out with charity work and is a common sight in the public eye

6. Kurt Angle
The only Olympic Gold Medal winner to ever wrestle for WWE clocks in at number six. He didn't get his start in professional wrestling until after his 1996 amazing win which in itself is truly unbelievable. How could a guy so young into the industry be so great so fast? Angle is the best technincal wrestler in the world today. With a scary expertise at the entertainment craft and the wrestling craft, he is pure gold. It took about three years from the time he won his Olympic Medal to sign a WWF/E contract but he hasn’t looked back.
He’s endured a number of surgeries to repair a painful neck injury stemming from his amateur wrestling days. There’s no telling how much time left he has to wrestle so it’s suggested that you take in everything you can and enjoy
Kurt  now with TNA has recently started to focus on helping out the young wrestlers within tna. Expect to see him and the rest starting to put over these younger guys, and bring them up to the main event level.

5. Chris Benoit

Benoit was widely regarded as one of the most popular, respected and gifted technical wrestlers in history Benoit also won the 2004 royal rumble and went to win the WWE Champion ship at Wrestlemania that year.
He such a perfect wrestler that in the end thats what killed him. His ridiculous intensity, workrate, and obsession with making it look 'damn real' is what finished him off. For example, a normal guy would protect himself from a direct chairshot. Benoit didnt, he wanted it to look more real.
Benoit was one of the extremely rare wrestlers that never phoned it in, and could have a great match with anybody.
At the WWE Vengeance: Night of Champions PPV Benoit was set to win the ECW title but he missed a house show and told WWE officials he missed it because is wife and son was vomiting blood due to food poisoning. And then told them he will have to miss the PPV because of a family emergency.
On June 27th  07Nancy, Daniel, and Chris Benoit were found dead.
Over a three day period, Benoit had killed his wife and son before he hanged himself. His wife was bound before the killing. Benoit's son was drugged and likely unconscious before Benoit strangled him. Benoit then committed suicide with a weight machine
After all signs pointed to a double murder-suicide WWE stopped selling all Chris Benoit Merchandise.

chris Benoit was a "different" kind of person be it for better or worse, his personal life doesn't take away from the "On-screen Chris Benoit".

Unfortunately the negative publicity he gathered has pretty much buried him in the history books and I doubt the WWE will ever recognize him again

4. Hulk Hogan

I put hogan at #4 because of the publicity he gave wrestling and so many fans were pulled in by hogan. He did OK as a heel for NWO but even then, his mic skills were average. In my opinion Hulk along with a few others was the demise of wcw. Instead of putting the younger guys over he had to be pampered by wcw and stay in the top spot

But he did possess incredible charisma and physical stature he helped transform wrestling from a niche pastime; spread out over several regional promotions to a mainstream brand of entertainment. Hogan’s marketability and appearances in movies and television helped turn the WWE into a billion dollar industry and paved the way for today’s high paid stars and elaborately produced shows. His in-ring ability; however left much to be desired, as he is widely regarded as a below average wrestler. Nevertheless Hogan rarely lost a match, even into his 50s. Yes I know most people would be quick to put the hulkster at number one. As much as I respect Hogan, I just don't feel like he is the best wrestler

3. Shawn Michaels

Shawn is hands down the one of the greatest "In ring performer" in the history of the business. No one has more Five Star matches/Matches of the year than Shawn. i.e. WM21 Kurt Angle,The Undertaker, WM12 Bret Hart WM14 Stone Cold. WM10 Razor Ramon WM24 Flair WM25 Undertaker WM20 Benoit Triple H. You name it. First man ever to win every major title (grand slam winner). Why do you think Shawn was in the first Iron Man Match, Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber, etc.

Shawn has made many wrestlers careers, and has headlined wrestlemania more times than hulk hogan.
This guy was like super man particularly before his back injury and even after to perform at the level is just special). the ability to tell a story and bring his real life issues into the story was fascinating for fans too. fantasy mixed with some reality always with HBK
Even Ric Flair said so, Shawn Michaels is the best! Shawn has done it all, winning ever major championshp in the wwe before being forced to retire early due to a severe back injury

2. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Austin personified the “Attitude” era of professional wrestling (mid to late 1990s.) At this time wrestling was at its peak and he was its brightest star. Austin captivated both hardcore and casual fans with his rebellious personality. Austin vs his boss Vince Mcmahon proved to be one of the most successful wrestling angles ever portrayed. The extremely charismatic Austin was hugely popular due to his tireless effort inside the ring and flawless microphone skills.

Steve Austin is the sole reason why WWE is still in business today. In the mid-1990s the WWF was at a crossroads, business was down and WCW was beating the hell out of ‘em. It was at this point in 1996 that a guy
Together with  The Rock he helped make wrestling as popular as it is today

1. The Rock
If God was to create a wrestler, it would be The Rock. Blessed with all the natural attributes and charisma possible, Dwayne Johnson quickly went the way of Hollywood. He is easily the best athlete on this list and accomplished a great deal in the business in a very short amount of time. Wildly popular and extremely entertaining, The Rock is and probably will always be the best wrestler ever to pick up a microphone.
The Rock has done as much as anyone in the wrestling business. He jumped on the national scene in 1996 and less then a year he become the brunt of fans loathing him. It wouldn’t take much long until he would jump into stratosphere and become on of the all time greats. His ability to entertain people on the microphone is unmatched by anyone, Nobody had a crowd in his palm much like he did.

When he returned to the ring to take on Hulk Hogan a few years ago, he helped create an unforgettable night in Toronto. The Rock just hasn’t become a movie star but also has open the floodgates for other wrestlers to become movie stars. Such as John Cena and triple H.

The Lord of War - Evil Dictators

A warlord is a person with power who has both military and civil
Dictators, as defined in the dictionary, is a person who rules with utter supremacy, and usually uses force to get their way
Dictators usually go for the government system called “communism”, which is an unrestricted political system: the political theory or system in which all property and wealth is owned in a classless civilization by all the affiliates of that society.
I am happy to live in a democracy because I feel we have the rights and freedom to speak, write, and express views. You can say what you want but doesn’t mean anyone listens to it.  Everyone always says this is a free country, but I feel we also have our restrictions as well.
The 20th century brought us some of the world’s most powerful and rich dictatorships. While most followed a straightforward recipe of murder, terror, and genocide, the following managed to plunder the nations they had taken control of in ways that boggle the mind
I have spent a considerable amount of time researching dictators and have come up with an official top 5. Finding estimates on some of these guys is near impossible.

Anyway Enjoy:

5. Idi Amin
Uganda  1971 – 1979
Death Toll – 300,000
Movies based on Idi Amin – The last King of Scotland

Idi Amin was a military leader and President of Uganda from 1971 to 1979. Amin joined the British colonial regiment, the King's African Rifles, in 1946, and eventually held the rank of Major General and Commander of the Ugandan Army prior to taking power in the military coup of January 1971, deposing Milton Obote. He later promoted himself to Field Marshal while he was the head of state.
Two-thirds of the army's 9,000 soldiers were executed by Amin during his first year in power. In total, he killed around 300,000 people.
In 1972, Amin expelled the country's 40,000-80,000 Indians and Pakistanis in the closing months of the year, reportedly after receiving "a message from God" during a dream

During 1975 he staged a publicity stunt for the world media, forcing white residents of Kampala to carry him on a throne then kneel before him and recite an oath of loyalty
Near the end of 1976, Amin officially declared himself "the uncrowned King of Scotland". (despite the fact that the proper name for the title is King of Scots) Amin lavished his guests and dignitaries with Scottish accordion music, while dressed in Scottish kilts.

In January 1979, Nyerere mobilised the Tanzania People's Defence Force and counterattacked, joined by several groups of Ugandan exiles who had united as the Uganda National Liberation Army (UNLA). Amin's army retreated steadily, and despite military help from Libya's Muammar al-Gaddafi, he was forced to flee into exile by helicopter on 11 April 1979 when Kampala was captured. He escaped first to Libya where he stayed until 1980, and ultimately settled in Saudi Arabia where the Saudi royal family allowed him sanctuary and paid him a generous subsidy in return for his staying out of politics.

4. Slobadan Milosevic
Yugoslavia, 1992-99
Death Toll 400,000
Movies Based on Slobdan Milosevic: None.  But there are movies based on the war: Behind the enemy lines and The Hunting Party

Yugoslavia was the name of a country made up of six states located in the Balkans region of Eastern Europe. Each state represented different ethnic groups. After the fall of Communism in 1989, Bosnia and Croatia, two of the six states, decided to break away from Yugoslavia and become independent. The break-up of Yugoslavia caused three different wars.
Slobodan Milosevic, president of Yugoslavia at that time, wanted to keep all the states under his control, so he went to war with them. However, Milosevic did not fight the clean fight.
When Milosevic was president, he had a plan for a Greater Serbia, which meant a state for Serb people. The Serbs are a distinct ethnic group, with their own language and religion.
As the former Yugoslavia states split apart, Milosevic developed a plan for a Serb-only state that was similar to what Hitler sought to do in Germany.
Slowly, thousands of non-Serbs living in Yugoslavia disappeared. Many were killed, and their bodies later discovered in mass graves throughout Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo. Non-Serbs, lucky not to be outright killed, were fired from their jobs and kicked out their homes. Their homes and jobs were given to Serbs.
When Milosevic stepped up his plan to slaughter all the ethnic Albanians living in Kosovo, NATO, an international force led by the United States, launched air strikes to stop him.
In 1999, NATO bombed Yugoslavia for 78 days, destroying roads, bridges and utilities. The bombing stopped after Milosevic backed away from his plan.
In October 2000, the people of Yugoslavia voted Milosevic out of office.

Mr Milosevic faced charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity for his alleged central role in the wars in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo during the 1990s. He also faced genocide charges over the Bosnia war.
He was found dead in the detention centre at The Hague tribunal

3.Adolf Hitler
Germany - 1934 to 1945
Death Toll: 17 Million
Movies Based on Hitler: The Boys from Brazil. Movies based on World War 2: The Great Escape, Saving Private Ryan and Das Boot

He was the leader of the Nazi Party. He was the absolute dictator of Germany from 1934 to 1945. He gained support by promoting values like German nationalism and anti-semitism. Hitler was appointed chancellor in 1933 and began the Third Reich. Hitler was power hungry as all hell, hated the shit out of Jews (and others), and wanted  hegemony in Europe. The militarization that was needed to complete such a lofty goal led to the outbreak of World War II. Nazi forces engaged in the systematic murder of as many as 17 million civilians, an estimated six million of whom were Jews, and 1.5 million Romanis.

Hitler’s role in this dark era of history will likely never be forgotten and neither will his quiet elimination of several million Jews, Gypsies, communists, homosexuals, and the handicapped in what we now call the holocaust. This was quite literally murder on an epic scale, on the battlefield, in the concentration camps and on the streets.
Were it not for the holocaust, Hitler might have been forgiven for the war and remembered as a great general in the same way as Napoleon. He might even have been patted on the head for having a really good go at world domination and given a sticker reading ‘I tried my best.

2.Jozef Stalin
USSR  1932-39
Death Toll: 23 Million
Movie based on Stalin: Red Terror

Joe Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union which time he killed or exported millions of ethnic minorities, oversaw the starvation of thousands of his own people and sent anybody who even looked at him the wrong way to labour camps. Still, he did kick the crap out of Nazi Germany. That’s something to thank him for. Although the establishment of the Eastern Bloc in it’s place was not so much of an improvement.

Stalin oversaw a massive overhaul of the soviet economy, industry and agriculture. The resulting disruption, however, was the cause of mass starvation in the Ukraine. There the situation was so extreme that reports of cannibalism spread. Without a doubt the darkest component of Stalin’s regime, however, was his ‘great purge’ which killed an estimated 700,000 people. The majority of those killed in the purge were ordinary citizens. This attempt to purge the nation of traitors, spies and even potential radicals meant that even uttering the word capitalism could have you sent to the gulag to be worked, starved, beaten or shot to death.

1.Mao Zedong
(China, 1958-61 and 1966-69, Tibet 1949-50)
Death Toll:  49 to 78 Million

Mao was a Chinese revolutionary, political theorist, and communist leader who led the People’s Republic of China. Mao, while controversial, is still widely considered a savior of the nation.  During  his first five years from 1949 – 53 he is said to have systematically killed between 4 to 6 million people by sentencing them to die or by sending them to “reform through labor” camps. He organized mass repressions, established execution quotas, and defended his actions in these early years as necessary for securing power for “The People’s Republic of China”.

His social programs the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution are two of the most ill-fated, poorly named, initiatives ever. The first was an effort to rapidly industrialize China. His focus was on making China a premier exporter of steel, and to this end he asked everybody to make  it. The problem was it got many citizens to make smelting shops in their backyards. Not only was the steel of little value, but it was made from everything lying around the house including their own cooking supplies! Without the tools to make food, no money coming in from the steel, and no money to survive ~ a lot of people starved to death. The estimates on this program alone are 20 million deaths!

His policies and political purges from 1949 to 1976 caused the deaths of 49 to 78 million people.

Above guys were sick, but there were many more sick dictators about.

Leopold II of Belgium (Congo, 1886-1908)
Death Toll  8,000,000

Pol Pot (Cambodia, 1975-79)
Death Toll  1,700,000

Kim Il Sung (North Korea, 1948-94)
Death Toll  1.6 million (purges and concentration camps)

Menghistu (Ethiopia, 1975-78)
Death Toll 1,500,000

Death Toll 300,000

Fidel Castro (Cuba, 1959-1999)
Death Toll 30,000

Robert Mugabe (Zimbabwe, 1982-87, Ndebele minority)
Death Toll 20,000

The Best Secret Intelligence Agencies in the World

Intelligence agencies in any country play a very important role. Every country has its own intelligence agency. These agencies work is purely secret. Nobody knows that how they work.
There has been many great movies like James Bond, Bourne Ultimatum and great tv shows like 24. They are all based on Intelligence agencies. Are there really agents like Jack bauer and Jason Bourne. Do they really exist?
So which agency is the best in the world? There are plenty of movies based on Intelligence Agencies?
Agencies operate in a shadowy world. The best agencies are the ones which attract no attention to themselves
Here is my Top 5:
Apologies in advance regards to the you tube videos. As most videos are based on the negative factors rather the positives. But as journalist and Media people would say Negative stories sells more and attracts more viewers. I mean who would want to watch a video of someone rescue a cat from a tree? Well no one apart from the owner of the cat.
Anyway...take two: Here is my Top 5:

5. GRU/SVR  - RUSSIA

When one thinks of Russian intelligence, they usually think of the KGB.
Back in the day KGB  was One of the most dreaded player in the game of spying. It lives on the principle of – It is not sufficient to know, it is necessary to react. But the KGB was disbanded by Boris Yeltsin in 1995 This was broken up after the collapse of communism Now there are two main agencies who influence the foreign affairs.
SVR is the official foreign-operations successor to many prior Soviet-era foreign intelligence agencies. Its domestic equivalent, the FSB

GRU is the country's main military intelligence and reconnaissance agency, and reports directly to the general staff of Russia's armed forces. The directorate is much bigger than the KGB .
GRU were purported to be behind the assassination of former Chechen President Zelimkhan Abdumuslimovich Yandarbiyev, who was living in Qatar in 2004 and was accused of having links to Al-Qaeda by Russia and the United Nations. The former president was assassinated when a bomb ripped through his SUV in the Qatari capital of Doha.

SVR sends to the Russian president daily digests of intelligence, similar to the President's Daily Brief produced by the Central Intelligence Agency in the US. However, unlike the CIA, the SVR recommends to the president which policy options are preferable.
SVR actively recruits Russian citizens who live in foreign countries. "Once the SVR officer targets a Russian émigré for recruitment, they approach them, usually at their place of residence and make an effort to reach an understanding," said former FSB officer Aleksander Litvinenko. "If he or she refuses, the intelligence officer then threatens the would-be recruit with legal prosecution in Russia, and if the person continues to refuse, the charges are fabricated". It was reported that SVR prey on successful Russian businessmen abroad.
Best movies based on KGB/FSB OR GRU: Yuri Nosenko (1986), Red Scorpion( 1989), Bond movies such as The Living Daylight, From Russia with Love and many more.

4. MI 6 - U.K

Number 4. No way, some pople would say. I am saying they are lucky they are not in sixth place like their name. They have been so much in news over the last year for finding bodies in gym bag.
If you like watching movies then you must be knowing James Bond and his fondness of sophisticated guns, attractive babes and Smirnoff. This british spy agency is popular for its notorious and daredevil agents with a clear understanding of what they are expected to achieve

MI6 or, as it is known formally, the Secret Intelligence Service, was created just prior to World War I primarily to keep a close eye on the activities of the Imperial German government. Since then, MI6 has been heavily engaged during the major conflicts of the 20th and 21st centuries. Even before the 9/11 attacks, MI6 actively collaborated with their American counterparts in order to share intelligence and carry out particularly dicey covert ops
On 9/11, only 30 of MI6s 1,600 agents were working on counterterrorism. Since then, the agency has been on an all-out recruitment blitz that includes previously unheard of measures, such as taking out ads in newspapers and allowing agents to grant interviews
Among the fun facts revealed: There really is a person called Q who designs gadgets, just like in the James Bond films, but M is actually called C. MI6 has also taken out ads in online spy-themed computer games such as Tom Clancys Splinter Cell

Best MI6 Movies : James Bond Movies, The Bank Job

3. CIA - USA

Again no chance only third place, they had to be number one. Everyone knows they are the daddy of all agencies. Sorry again. But everyone knows CIA, as they are mentioned in every movie possible. They can’t be that damn covert. We all know that they exist.

CIA is the largest of the intelligence agencies and is responsible for gathering data from other countries that could impact U.S. policy. Agency (CIA) has three stated functions: 1) Obtaining and analyzing information about foreigners; 2) Propaganda and public relations; and, 3) Covert operations at the direction of the president
Highly funded and technologically most advanced Intelligence set-up in the world.

Despite the funding It has failed to control terrorism activities including 9/11, Not even a single top level Al-Qaeda leader captured own its own in the past 9 years – ‘they missed 1 Million’ Soviet troops marching into Afghanistan’. Iraq’s Weapons of Mass Destruction, Have the found them yet? You might get better answer by watching Greenzone movie starring Matt Damon.
But no one knows that what CIA really does
Best Movies based on CIA:  Syriana (2005), Body of Lies(2008),Bourne Movies (Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum) ,The Good Shepherd(2008) AND Greenzone (2010)

2. Mossad - ISRAEL

The Mossad known in full as the Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations is the national intelligence agency of Israel. “Mossad” is a Hebrew word for institute or institution

Its responsible for intelligence collection, counter-terrorism and various covert operations. Its director reports directly to the head of state, the Prime Minister. Mossad is a civilian service, and does not use military ranks, although most of its staff have served in the Israeli defense forces as part of the country's compulsory draft system. Mossad's most notorious wing is the "Special Operations Division" or "Metsada," as it's also known. The Metsada has been involved in several assassinations, paramilitary operations, sabotage, and psychological warfare.

Mossad Operation in Dubai – part 1

Israel’s intelligence agency is most famous for having taken out a number of PLO operatives in retaliation for the attack that killed eleven Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympic games in Munich.

Also In 1960, the Mossad discovered that Adolf Eichmann, a notorious Nazi war criminal, was living in Argentina under the name of Ricardo Klement. He was captured by a team of Mossad agents and smuggled in to Israel where he was tried and executed

Mossad Operation in Dubai – part2

Movies based on Mossad: Munich (2005), You don’t mess with Zohan (2008) and Walk on Water (2004)

Mossad Operation in Dubai – part3

1 ISI - PAKISTAN

Suprised....ISI, who are? Well I mentioned in the beginning that the best agency doesn’t attract attention
With the lengthiest track record of success, the best know Intelligence so far on the scale of records is ISI.
No double agents, no agent ever caught on camera, the lowest budget but still affective.
In war with 6 big intelligence agencies of the world. ISI has even countered MOSSAD in the 1980s and late ‘90s when there was a plan of a possible strike on Pakistan’s nukes
KGB, the best of its time, failed to counter ISI and protect Soviet interests in Central Asia
It has protected its nuclear weapons since formed and it has foiled Indian attempts to attain ultimate supremacy in the South-Asian theatres through internal destabilization of India.
The Inter-Services Intelligence was Established in 1948 during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947. for safeguarding Pakistan’s interest, monitoring opposition politician and sustaining military rule in Pakistan, ISI is one of the very well organized intelligence agency in world. Apart from its outstanding structure it is controversial too and once it was termed as state within a state due to its cross-purpose policies
Its is believed to have one of the highest number of agents worldwide, close to 10,000. Only CIA have more.
Best movies based on ISI- None. Honestly could not find any. Apologies.

I even struggled to find youtube video. But I have added the link:
